I’ve decided to post, once per month, the latest industry news (this info will also be sent as a monthly newsletter to all my subscribers).
GearBest fall promotion
Newsflash! If you missed the summer coupons from GearBest, don’t despair. I’ve just learned these guys will be hosting a big promotion this mid September. So if you’re looking to buy a robotic vacuum cleaner, make sure you visit the Home & Garden section from their Fant4stic Fall event. The best selling robot vacuums from iLife (X5, V7S and A4) are on the deals list, and already in deposits in EU and US, so the shipping will be extra fast. Watch out, they are also giving some products for free, some brands are on clearance and there’s a section where everything is $1.
The new Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum cleaner
I wanted to buy Xiaomi stocks since late 2014, but unfortunately this company is not listed. One thing is for sure, they are rapidly expanding in new, highly lucrative industries. If this robovac is half of what they say, then it’s gonna be a killer. Rumors say it has the highest suction (1800 Pa), the best filtration and a laser based navigation. The battery is twice as big as the one used in the iLife line. They say it works continuously 150 minutes. And can connect to your smartphone. All for less than $300 a piece. Shut up and take my money! You can already order it from GearBest (and use the coupon code XIAOMIVAC to get a discount) or other online wholesalers out there. Here’s a nice preview, but don’t worry, I’ll come back with a full video:
The new Bissell CrossWave
Bissell just launched the new CrossWave system, a product which can vacuum and scrub at the same time (kinda like the old Hoover Floormate Spinscrub). I’m curious about the new thing they bring to the table. I’d love unit which doesn’t leave streaks behind, sucks well and is reliable enough to last a few years. At a first glance, the CrossWave looks good. Nice design and nice specs. Not only the CrossWave should be perfect for hard floors, but they also say it works on carpets and area rugs, so I can wait to get my hands on it and write a review. I hope I can manage that by the end of this month. Meanwhile, if you can’t wait, you can already buy it.
