I’m interested in an upright vacuum that can handle thick shag rugs, tile floors and Berber carpets. After reading your article the Miele U1 sounds good. Please let me know your thoughts.

From high pile carpets to tiles, you need high versatility. You’re right, Miele U1 fits the bill. Latest Shark Rotator also handles things pretty well.
